Medicinal Use
Camelia oil is very high in oleic acid. It has been used in Japan for centuries to moisturize and condition the skin, hair and nails. It is particularly useful in creams for dry, damaged skin, hair conditioners, scalp treatments, eye creams and after sun skin care products. It can be used in any proportion. Camellia oil is similar in colour and viscosity to jojoba. It penetrates quickly and can be used undiluted on the skin, hair and nails. It is exceptional oil for use in toiletries and soaps and as a carrier oil for aromatherapy treatments.
Traditional Use
For Centuries, camellia oil has been used to protect the finest Samurai swords. A small amount, aplied to your carbon tools will keep the free of corrosion. Camellia oil is non-toxic and non-allergenic.
