Contraindication
Not to be taken during pregnancy or if taking warfarin or any other blood-thinning medication. Eating the fresh leaves can trigger mouth ulcers in some people.
Warfarin : may cause increase in its effectiveness, possibly causing uncontrolled bleeding
Medicinal Use
Therapeutic uses: migraine, irregular or painful periods, joint inflammation and pain, fevers, childbirth.
